NAM announced today that New York City Chief Settlement Negotiator, Kenneth Grundstein, Esq., has joined National Arbitration and Mediation, Inc. (NAM) exclusively as a full-time Hearing Officer. Mr. Grundstein will be available to mediate and arbitrate cases throughout the NY Metro area as of February 1, 2010.

In Mr. Grundstein's positions as former Senior Counsel at the New York City Health & Hospital Corporation, Chief of the Personal Injury Division for the Office of the NYC Comptroller and as the Senior Litigator in the Tort Division of the New York City Law Department, he has significant expertise in the areas of personal injury, medical malpractice, torts and products liability. Additionally, although Mr. Grundstein's experience has been on the “defense side,” during his 20 year tenure in his various high visibility positions for the City, he was highly respected by the plaintiffs' bar and is uniformly regarded as an exceptional and talented settlement negotiator.
