Steinhardt (Ret.) and Bob Worden, Esq., have been invited by the New York State Academy of Trial Lawyers to present Tales From the Trenches: What To Do and What NOT To Do in Settlement, where they will recount their amazing, thrilling and terrifying experiences in the courthouses and conference rooms of New York! This complimentary 1-hour CLE program will be live-streamed on Thursday, February 17th at 1 p.m. ET. The course offers 1 Professional Practice CLE credit.

Judge Marsha presided on the bench in Kings County, the Greatest Legal Show on Earth for 31 years. Since the 1980s, Lawyer Bob has represented both Plaintiffs and Defendants in settling high-value cases from the Falls of Niagara County to the Shores of Suffolk County. Both presenters look forward to sharing their stories and the lessons learned in an enjoyable and instructive presentation.

Judge Steinhardt is a member of NAM's (National Arbitration and Mediation) Hearing Officer Panel. Her remarkable 31-year judicial career includes 26 years spent as a Justice of the Supreme Court. In 2011, she was assigned to the Medical Malpractice Trial Readiness Part (MMTRP), Kings County, where she conferenced every post Note of Issue medical malpractice case in Brooklyn, resulting in the resolution of a significant number prior to trial. While on the Supreme Court bench, she also presided over many case types, including personal injury, product liability, premises liability, and several matters involving complex commercial litigation. Respected by both plaintiffs and defendants alike, Judge Steinhardt is known for her deep understanding of medical practices, processes and terminology that allows her to fully assess and evaluate the issues of the case. Justice Steinhardt is available to arbitrate and mediate cases throughout the State of New York.
Mr. Worden is a member of NAM's (National Arbitration and Mediation) Hearing Officer Panel and concentrates on high-exposure personal injury and medical malpractice cases. In 2020, for the third year in a row, Mr. Worden was voted a Top Ten Arbitrator by the New York Law Journal Best of Survey. He is available to mediate major injury personal injury claims and medical malpractice cases throughout New York State. He is also a member of Lawrence, Worden, Rainis & Bard, P.C.
